Period Victorian entertainment venue. Seating in the stalls is very roomy with large comfy leather cinema style seats and a large bench like shelf to store and rest your drinks, bags and coats. Decor is has bags of heritage. Good views of the stage from different positions around the auditorium.
Sadly faded.nnHere is your seating plan:nnFloor - pretty much what you expect + 4 bars!nnUpper balcony - zero leg room. Feet stick to the floor.nnLower balcony - look at them! Comfy airline seats and nice tables for y’beer. Cannot comment on the adhesion coefficient of the floor covering. Probably worth paying any premium for.nnLike the funky elephants.
Such a great venue to watch live music.nIt’s a short taxi ride from town and is easy to find.nEntry was straightforward and access to the lower balcony was via a few flights of stairs.nThere were two bars, that were pretty quick to get served by and beers were around £6 scan.nThe lower balcony seats are wide and comfortable and there’s a counter to put your drinks on.nThe merchandise stand is by the main exit to the venue.
Great venue! First time attending last night to see the amazing Michael Kiwanuka .. Had spoke to Andy earlier in the week as I needed to swap my standing tickets to seats due to injury. Andy was super helpful .. put my name down for lounge access so I didn’t have to queue and my tickets were swapped on the door. All the staff were great on the night, very friendly and helpful! Venue itself is gorgeous .. yes it’s very old but lots of character and acoustics were great. Car parking right next door too. Fab night!
Liverpool Olympia is a fantastic venue with a rich history and a diverse range of events. From concerts to comedy shows, there's always something interesting happening here. It's the perfect place to spend an evening full of entertainment and unforgettable experiences.
