Lovely theatre, helpful staff and option to order drinks for the interval delivered to your seat! Loved that! Massive bottleneck in the foyer though as we were allowed in but not to our seats. This created a lot of standing around in the heat. However, once the doors to the stalls were opened all was OK. We saw Riverdance, it was amazing!
Lovely theatre! I’ve been to many different theatres across the UK, and this one is truly top quality. The legroom in the stalls is especially spacious, which makes a big difference. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.nHowever, the toilets tend to have long queues, so be prepared to wait.nStill, highly recommended overall!
Great venue! We sat in the third tier, midway up. It was a bit far from the stage, but we had clear sightlines and pretty good sound. Could not read the audio caption from up there, so if you rely on that I would recommend a lower level seat. Photo is from row M.
Went to see Tina the musical. We had really good seats. The theatre itself is stunning. Haven't been since I was a kid and it blew me away.
We came to see Kinky Boots! First of all - the show was absolutely spectacular! The staff in this venue were all so kind and approachable! The food and drinks were on the expensive side but this is to be expected at a theatre. The only downside was the seats were not very comfortable, during the interval I heard multiple people mention that their bums were hurting after sitting in the seats for a while - which I agreed with. The seats are also not the most plus sized friendly, I a size 22/24 did feel quite squished within my seat, however it was bearable and there wasn’t too much discomfort. There is plenty of legroom in the stalls which is very nice : also the way the seats are situated means no matter where you sit in the stalls you can see the stage clearly! A little bit more air con would’ve been appreciated as it was 30° degrees outside, however this wasn’t a huge problem.nnApart from the seats I have nothing negative to say about the theatre! It’s only a 5 minute walk from Lime Street Station, and we had a very pleasant experience:
