Great place to stay at a reasonable price. A lovely old building,my room was clean and bed comfortable I’d definitely stay again. Very welcoming and although I arrived later in the evening they put the oven back on to cook me a pizza after a long drive,very much appreciated and told me a lot about the people running the place. Very happy and thanks for having me.
Views for days, great location and a lovely cosy bar for the evenings. Serve food or the staff always find a way to make something work. If you're looking for a quaint getaway in the country with views as far as the eye can see look no further. Not far from the local hikes and walks, parking in the back which is secure and always holds a few quickly ales, gins and whiskeys. Nearby activities: View points, hikes, trails, walking paths, scenic spots, gardens, historical sites Food & drinks: Pale ales, Gins, Whiskeys and Draught Noteworthy details: Scenic Views, Great Pub
An historic quirky building with original features. Our en-suite room was clean and well equipped and had very comfy beds. Our hosts were thoughtful and obliging to our needs as were the other staff also. The hearty well cooked breakfast is just what's needed to start the day. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas.
I loved this place. The views and the comfort i had was great the breakfast was nice and friendly staff and the locals that came i to the pub made it feel welcome. Highly recommnendedRooms: 4/5

A hidden gem. Sandeep, Sharon and the team are amazing. The place is beautifully done paying homage to its history whilst bringing in their own artistic flair. The drinks and food is well thought out and most of all the service has left me wanting to visit again and again. The locals are lovely too. The most welcoming place and a must visit if you're in the area.
Very good,all clean and tidy,nice bar lounge ect descent prices.Will stay again. Walkability: Lots places to walk. Food & drinks: Food is limited in the evenings,good breakfast.
Great Hotel to stay in whilst travelling around the Cotswolds Stayed for 3 nights lovely setting and peaceful place with nice views and lovely welcoming owners The staff and owners alike were very helpful and obliging. The rooms are bright clean and beds were very comfortable The Forest of Dean is not too far away from the hotel and I found that all the places I wanted to visit whilst there weren’t too much of a distance to drive Parking is easy and the Hotel has a large car park with an outside bar and pub garden. Had a very pleasant stay.
Really good position , lovely views nearby. Great Japanese cuisine pop up evening meal . Very welcoming .
