One of the best designer paints in the UK. Most of the negative reviews from people below are laughably ignorant & misleading of a really good product. "Can you make an entire batch of paint up for me in a small can not advertised because I spent a grand last week? I'm really important you know." Surprise surprise, no because that isn't how a production line works! Tinted colours are bespoke, production of paint is not. "I've bought a paint colour from a description ! but it isn't what I thought it would be. Can I swap it for another colour even though I know it's made up to order?" Why not use the colour card or a tester pot first like everyone else does?
Great paint but disappointing customer service In the middle of a redecorate of our farm house…. Sizeable project. Using 3 companies: F&B, Paint and Paper and Little Greene. Quality of Little Greene paint is fabulous but willingness’s to help a customer who has recently spent nearly £1000 in 5 months was disappointing. I phoned up to see if I could get a sample pot size of satinwood to touch up a nearly finished door frame. Told that sample pots are emulsion only so I would need to buy a litre. I pointed out the large spendstill much more to do in a complete redecorate and again had repeated that they would not help. I persisted politely! asking for help and then requested to speak to a manager… told firmly that I could not talk to anyone else. Disappointed customer here who wrongly thought that purchasing from a prestige supplier would enable a bit of a bespoke service…. But colour and quality of paint is superb
We don't have pots of cash, so if we spend more on something there needs to be a good reason. When you ask folks about "posh paints" the typical response is "you can get the same colour mixed at B&Q". Maybe on one level you can, but it isn't just colour it's texture, depth, luminosity, smell! Little Greene is more expensive, but it goes a long way and gives a completely different end result. Our house doesn't have a lot of character built in, but in just a few hours we have transformed the sitting room from a boring, flat 1980s dull zone, to a rich, sophisticated space that embraces you. If you just like magnolia then Dulux away, but if you crave richness and depth treat yourself to a wee tester pot of Little Greene and prepare to be transformed #ThreeFarmGreen
Spent ages looking for the perfect colour paint for our Victorian living room and then came across Little Greene. After lots of samples from various places, we made a decision and went for Pale Wedgwood Absolute Matt Emulsion and it's AMAZING. Quick delivery, beautiful well-packaged product, but most importantly the paint was a dream. Thick, super high quality paint with the consistency of rich double cream and the colour is lovely - modern with a nod to a heritage palette. One coat gave a really good even coverage but I opted for two coats as it's a feature wall and I had lots of paint left over! My boyfriend says it's even helped with the texture of the wall too - smoothing over some imperfections in the plaster underneath. Very happy customers and we'll certainly be back for more paint. Yes, more expensive than the average paint but you definitely get what you pay for! Thanks Little Greene :
Interior oil eggshell is the only product I use in the Little Greene range, in my opinion it offers a deep, flat, durable finish whilst maintaining flow and workability, unrivalled by any other paint supplier. For emulsion I can easily find comparative alternatives for half the price elsewhere. Free delivery online is great, but communication is shocking, no tracking, no updates - nothing, then delivered to a neighbour twice in a row, no attempt to knock or ring my door, no calling card. Very strange courier service.
Bought 2x 5 litres of the ‘knightsbridge’ colour as it is described as a grey/brown, although after applying it realised its just a very dark grey. Asked for a return/exchange for the tube I didn't open as it wasn't the colour I was looking for and I was told that they do not accept any returns. Not good when they are charging premium sums of money for a product that is not as described and could have been bought very cheaply from a normal DIY store.
Premium paint you can’t get better in my opinion. Expensive but lasts so works out cheaper in the long run. Customer service is 1st class with a member of the technical team Liam even giving me his mobile number and told me to call him if I need any advice about which paint to use etc.
Do not buy! We experienced problems with the invisible green intelligent matt emulsion paint, our decorator spotted it drying with flashing/framing stripes all over but painted a third coat to hope it would resolve the issue. As you will see from the pictures it didn't, the paint also marks with the slightest touch and leaves white powdery marks. We have tried to email and call the company several times with no response from them, not satisfactory for a supposedly premium brand. We were planning on using the same colour in a different room so have 3 tins of paint we can not use. We spent £1200 in total with them and fully regret this, although their colour selection is good we definitely will not use the brand again and I highly recommend you don't either as it will cost more time and money! Lets see if they respond to this, I'm guessing not.
Their intelligent matt Lamp Black looks more like vinyl silk and nothing like the sheen level on their colour charts. Had to repaint in absolute matt. Customer services said that the paint was within their tolerances and darker colours would look glossier than lighter colours. Why not show that on their charts then? Useless customer service.
First time I have used this paint companies products. Excellent paint quality. Very smooth and creamy. Low splatter. Would highly recommend
