Lovely little cafe & tearoom with very reasonably priced, tasty food. Clean and tidy incl loo with quirky decor and friendly staff who still managed to smile in very hot summer heat. We'd definitely return.
I rarely do reviews but felt I had to on this occasion. Both my friend and I asked for soup. One with a roll and other with a toasted cheese sandwich. The soup was lovely but never have I been served such a small portion. We were both shocked it was like a small mugs worth in a reasonable sized soup bowl. Which was and looked ridiculous. Huge bap and the thinnest toasted sarnie. I asked if she had run out of soup as between us it was one portion she said no that's the portion. Never thought I'd be ripped off by a bowl of soup.
Very tasty sandwiches and wraps, the tea was served in proper China cups and tge cakes and cream teas were homemade and delicious! The service was friendly and the tea room is nicely decorated. This was my first visit with friends from London but it won't be my last.Food: 5/5
Great coffee, very tasty chicken pesto sandwich and a delicious creamy carrot cake. With very friendly staff, a must visit if you find your self in Otley!
We had afternoon tea delivered today and it was lovely. There was a good selection of sandwiches and cakes all served in boxes with garnishes.
Coffee was good but scone was solid. I suspect the 3 under glass, one of which I got, were yesterday's as there was a pile of freshly baked stones on the back counter. Pity, staff did microwave it to soften it but in the end I left it after two bites. Shame as it gets good ratings. Parking: Beech Car Park 5/10 mins walk away.
Great cafe selling some lovely food and drinks. Been here quite a few times over the years and each time never disappoints. Highly recommended.
While having our drinks staff were hanging around listening to our conversation and looked bored and nothing to do. There was a notice on the front door saying it was closing at 3pm but they started clearing away just before 2pm and packing up the outside chairs whilst we were still drinking. None of the staff said thankyou for coming and we felt like we had to quickly finish.
Pleasant, attentive service, good choice of sandwiches and baked potatoes. Reasonably priced coffees. Very compact inside, only six tables. Home made cakes looked delicious.
Visited for the first time today. Such a cosy little place and very friendly, helpful staff. Our chicken salads were very fresh and the serving generous. My friend had a slice of lamington cake which he said was very tasty. Will definitely be returning.
