Food was tasteless apart from the greasiness. Ate once for dinner and would never go back, second night we found a lovely pub up the road which have proper chefs and amazing food. Drinks at little chef are expensive despite the food prices being reasonable. Staff are pleasant but lack communication.
I stopped going to Little Chef about ten years ago due to a few bad experiences, but decided to give them another try. Very glad I chose this establishment as the food and service are superb. Have revisited several times since and always left very full and happy. Excellent team, keep up the good work.
Very sadly - and a great loss to fans of 'choice' - the brand has ceased trading and in this instance has become a combined Subway and Greggs!! As LC, an icon of road trips and days out! Always reliable, you know what you're going to get and it's invariably good. This particular branch is our family's favourite outing! Not visited since change to Subway/Greggs!
We are local, and our idea of a treat is breakfast at this Little Chef. We would prefer it to lunch at a posh restaurant. Every time we go the meal and coffee are perfect. Specially my flipped egg that I ask for.
Part of a dying breed sadly all closing down as this one will be this year to be replaced by the usual suspects: Starbucks, KFC, Greggs, burger king or Subway. Lovely staff and good homely inexpensive food.
My partner and I were on our way from Weymouth to the Mary Rose exhibition in Portsmouth. We decided to stop for a quick breakfast. This 'quick breakfast' turned out to be a very pleasant experience all thanks to the lady who 'serves' there. Jacky is her name and she told me she'd worked there for 27 years?? Amazing how a genuinely warm, welcoming and friendly person can make something as simple as having a breakfast which was very well cooked I might add can make something so ordinary into something so memorable. Well Done, Jacky. You really are a tremendously valuable asset to that Little Chef establishment and an extremely nice person to meet. Paul and Jai from Weymouth.
I nearly never walk out of places for serving too slowly, but here I did. The staff were wandering idly about, while I had been waiting half an hour for a coffee. Manager should chose better who they hire.
Brilliant welcome, food great, staff wonderful. We felt really well looked after. Seats are a bit shabby, but this didn't matter - this place is a little gem.
An American said they cannot beat this breakfast. But 1 American did notice the biggest building in the south England was quite large. Saying that the buildings of equal stature in USA was twice the size of ours. Which a fellow guest replied I am not surprised it's an Asylum! Hamlet was played their every night!
I travel the UK with my job and often use Little Chefs. The quality is variable to say the least. This is one of the best ones, decent food and very pleasant staff.
