I deliberatly drove an alternative route just to try out this new style of Little Chef and I wasn't disappointed. Gorgeous food, as I expected. Just dead normal dining!! But with excellent service and I really enjoyed it. Great diner and I'll be going back on Friday this week also :
Good value. Bacon bap and coffee 3.29 Coffee really smooth, easy to drink, not like nasty instant you get in some places. Toilets very clean. Polite service with a smile.
although the area was really busy the little chef was empty, that should have been a good indicator for us obiously others knew something we didn't, the customers area was really dated with ripped and worn seats not really clean some seats had bit of food on etc and the place was empty! except for three staff the young I think possibly Polish young lady was obiously new however very help full we only had three reasons cakes and a cheese Burger three drinks ie I had a coke the burger alone was expensive at £8.90 etc although it did have 14 chips with it but when the bill was paid VAT was added it was not included this made the snack so expensive for a fifth rate premises we were stunned at the bill I seriously do not recommend this little chef. The old little chef was the best this one in my opinion is scandalously over priced
The star is for the decor. The food is awful. I couldn't finish the £10.00 hamburger which looked nothing like the photo on the menu. Truly shocking. There's a BK next door. Use that. That's how bad the 'food' is here.
A Heston Blumenthal refurb but now back to normal menu. It's a tragedy that all little chefs are closing, with this being one of the last still open for dinner time till year end 2017. English history dying to be replaced by Starbucks and burger king's etc. I'm going to cry after this day of little chef's.
17th July 2017, not enough staff, stopped for a quick break and lunch but the wait to be served and then for the meal would have too long so left. We weren't the only one's to leave without eatting.
Wasn't too keen on going here but was about 7 on a Sunday. Only 2 staff but there were v good. Food nice tea and coffee ok. Toilets felt a bit unloved.
You know roughly what to expect at Little Chef and this one is smart and clean, with hearty food and great service. A welcome break on a long journey.
The food was fantastic and the service great, it's such a shame they're changing it from a little chef.
Broke up our journey from Kent to North Wales. Nice food and quick service.
