A wonderful place to visit and browse, and the perfect place to buy a gift or treat yourself to a good book! With the owner's warm welcome, knowledgeable advice and lots of choice - books, stationery, little knick-knacks - and a lovely atmosphere, I could have spent all day here. Highly, highly recommended!

Absolutely generous and kind owner who took time with my 10 year old godson to answer all his questions about comic books and our tourist questions about Derry. It was such a special quintessential Irish experience.
We’re visiting Ireland from Canada, and spent the day in Derry. We love books, so decided to pop in to the Little Acorn during our stay, and we’re so glad we did. There was an amazing selection of books, and a huge variety of specific ones in different editions. There were also a bunch of little knickknacks and, of course, Derry Girls themed things. The owner was an absolute gem, who was so sweet and funny. During checkout, we had a ten minute conversation about James Joyce, things to do in Dublin, and the cute decor she had in the shop. She even threw in a limited edition Ulysses bookmark ! Absolutely stop here when in Derry.
Such an alladin's cave of new and old books. Especially good selection of books on the politics of Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Great bookshop. Always has something interesting to purchase. A large selection of local and Irish history books in store.
A really terrific bookshop with an amazingly large, hugely varied selection of Books. The owner of the shop is very welcoming and has a lot of experience and knowledge of the stock. Books can be ordered and in my experience they come in very quickly. This shop is a huge asset to the town.
Brilliant bookstore in the heart of Derry. Jenni couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. In the era of online shopping, it's a joy to enter such a wonderful establishment and feel yourself surrounded by stories. Looking forward to my next visit.
