Great industrial heritage museum near canal showing brine salt process and difficult working conditions.
The museum looks well looked after. Staff were lovely and informative. I personally wasnt blown away with excitement, but it's got some interesting sections. For the price it's good value and a great way to spend a couple of hours. Worth going if you haven't been before.
Good place to spend the morning or afternoon in a cold or rainy day. Good displays and detailed restoration of the facilities.
Looks impressive when pasaing on the canal, and the whole place smells like the seaside, so you get an authentic salt experience!
Probably as interesting as it could be really. Killed an hour or so. Staff helpful, sensible Covid precautions, kids didn’t complain, so all in all, pretty good.

It was very interesting and informative and worth the entrance fee, but would have been better if some of the interactive items worked, lots were needing repairs when we visited.
