Good service and good quality of food. Unfortunately the portion sizes have much reduced compared to when I used to work here back in the day under Paul Linford. I appreciate costs have substantially increased but regular is now small. You may end up leaving wishing you'd ordered the large - that'll cost you £15 [inc. chips].Food: 2/5
Had a battered sausage on the restaurant, with no chips. £6:40 for one yes one battered sausage with no chips. Buy one from the take away is £2:45. Plain sausage in the restaurant is £2:45. This place charges £3:45 for a bit of batter. Member of staff confirmed the prices. Guess I won't be eating here anymore at these extortionate prices. Parking: Got none
The new fillet fish burger was lovely !! but I especially enjoyed the tartare sauce added , it filled me up perfectly . I would definitely order it again , great meal.
Had a great Haddock and Chips tea tonight with my wife and young granddaughter. More importantly the waitress was very attentive and showed an intuitive and caring attitude towards us with a young child she is an asset to your team
Staff weren't friendly, eg no smile, the fish was small and the cost was huge at £10.50 for medium fish and chips. I would not go here again, or recommend it.
Lovely fresh fish cooked to perfection with a crunchy and not greasy batter. Not overly expensive and friendly service.

Unfortunately the first and last time we use Linfords. Extremely disappointed with the portion size and how overpriced it is too!! Wouldn't have been so bad if the food tasted nice, but it didn't. The 'regular' chips and large mushy peas looked like a portion size for a child, not an adult. Appreciate a pandemic is on and we all have a loss of earning, but it doesn't justify the high prices for so little in return.
Oh dear, what has happened to the great fish and chip that Linfords use to do. I've just had a very disappointing Fish and chip take away from Linfords. The chips seemed to be chewy and not fresh, the fish batter was not crisp but soggy...I can only say the curry was ok, I think there new fryer has affected the quality. I had better fish and chips from the boundary down the road a few weeks ago.
