Linen House Table Table

Awful food and service. Food came out cold and dry - obviously served from frozen and not freshly made! Who puts an egg and bacon on a chicken escalopes? Or puts STRAWBERRIES in a RASPBERRY fizz? Service was totally awful, not even once anyone asked us if everything is ok or if we need anything. Just a simple 'finished?' - that is what you say to your child in the house! We did not get served a table water which we had ordered and never got asked if we want any drinks. Had to wait on drinks for ages, as they only came out with our meal. I am not going to mention the terrible decor of the 'restaurant' - old stinky carpets and chairs, loads of dirt and coming off paint everywhere! Terrible experience! Would not recommend and never go back there again!

We have been going here for many years and always had superb service and food. However took the family today for a treat and after sitting for 40mins after ordering and with no one approaching to ask if we were we finally asked what the problem was,only to be told that our order was not handed into the kitchen and was no where to be found! Our little boy at 15 months old was starving, distressed and very unsettled our little girl at 3 was the same. When this came to light,although the manageress was apologetic,there wasn't even any an offer of vouchers or anything,just an offer of if you wait even more we will get your food out to you asap! Not good enough by my standards in today's restaurants. It's all up when McDonald's has better table service than most of these restaurants!

Great place for food and drinks, decent atmosphere and very good value day weekday meal deals.

Very pleasantly surprised by this spot. Staff were lovely and food was top notch. Extremely affordable and they had a good range of exclusive dishes just for the summer menu. BBQ platter was fantastic as were the fiery chicken wings. Added bonus was stocking Brooklyn Scorcher IPA for summer, one I had not seen before, and was a delightful addition.

I sometimes have meetings here as it's handy/ off the motorway with easy free parking and quiet. We also sometimes come here with our kids if we are stuck in traffic and it's teatime for them as it's better than McDonald's. Wouldn't recommend it for adults. The food isn't bad exactly, in fact if you are really hungry and eat it fast it's ok but generally overpriced apart from kids menu. Most of the menu is reheated, readymeal /premade kind of fare on the whole. I wouldn't be surprised if even the salads just came pre prepared out if a bag. OK for a coffee or a beer but everything about this place is blandly corporate.
