My elderly Aunt has just been in Archer Ward for two weeks following a fall at home because she broke two small bones in her pelvis. The nurses were very kind but today she was sent home without a care package in place because they could not find one for her. She is 93 years old and lives alone and she can only shuffle around with the aid of a Zimmer frame. My brother-in-law told them that we could not organise anyone to stay with her until the following weekend and then only for one week because we, her nieces, live 100 miles away in Derby but they would not listen and sent her home by ambulance anyway. So for nearly a week she is on her own with no help to get a meal or empty her commode. It is very shocking because I know that years ago they would have arranged for her to go into a home for recouperadication before sending a frail old lady 93 home to an empty house to fend for herself.
Miserable cow on reception needs sacking. I called this Saturday because the DWP required the results of my glaucoma test. Her exact words were " not open on weekends so call back Monday". Then just put the phone down on me. Fu kin bitcha ttitude problem . Going get transferred to Lincoln or Boston from now on.
Absolutely excellent. Well run to keep the waiting time to a minimum and staff welcoming, cheerful and understanding. They found what was wrong with me within the hour that elevated my fears. This was after numerous failed attempts to get to see a doctor at Marsh medical Practice to examine me. I had to go to Urgent care centre as I was getting worse. Why can a doctor at the Urgent Care examine me but my own doctor can't? Well done Louth what would we do without you,
I visited the walk in unit today late morning I was met by two lovely ladies- receptionist & nurse. They listened to me supported me with a smile. Dr.Smith listened to me and prescribed medication. My experience this morning was excellent thank you all. Lesley B.
I have had both A&E experiences here and Consultant contact, I have always been impressed at the calm and positive approach by staff. Thank you so much. Patrick Webb OBE
I went to Louth Urgent Treatment Centre recently and found out that it was closed. I had to call 111 and get a doctors appointment the next day instead. Much better off going to Grimsby hospital for any treatment.
Had to attend urgently today. On arrival showed waiting time of 2-4 hrs and advised that they had water problems. Booked in efficiently by the lovely receptionist. I probably waited an hour and was seen by two nurses. They were both lovely and I was out within 20 mins of being seen. Totally recommend Louth if you need treatment.
Excellent service. Staff were so helpful & friendly. They deserve the highest praise & a big pay rise. Thank you all. Pauline Jones.
Just been for an ultra sound scan. Very professional and prompt and polite service.
We had to visit tonight and the staff are absolutely fantastic. The receptionist isnt your normal grumpy human who dosnt wat to be there she was so lovely We had to wait a couple of hours to be seen but couldn't fault anybody the Male nurse we saw a very tall man went as far as getting my son his antibiotics for him as it was late and we not be able to pick them up ..... fantastic service thankyou
