Small but friendly establishment. Couple of TV's showing the World Cup and this was followed by karaoke. Carling lager on draft. Good atmosphere.
Bar man nasty peice of work unless your a regular ,don't even attempt this place Ooh and the regulars? nasty people never again will we enter this place its. a dive and toliets not that great either , basic , only if your one of them.that frequently goes in , alkys in other words , then please stay away for your own good
Allowed the maukinhill team into pub to enjoy their cup final win and service was good
The Lighthouse is pure unpretentious Greenock. I love it. It looks like it once was a cafe where they spent £20 on turning it into a pub, but the bar staff are lovely, the patrons are friendly and a good night is the most likely outcome - especially on their karaoke nights which are brilliant.
Cracking wee bar, at weekends the karaoke is superb, reasonably priced drinks
One of the best pubs in the area. Great fun, good people, best pub sign ever - “Strictly No football colours , except Morton and Scotland”, superb. Great Morton mural above the door. Ten stars.
Nipped in for a cheeky cider n shlda seen ma face when a only went n bumped into the one n oly ally mccoist! Told him a remember watching him on the tele as a younster! Asked un what u doing here? N he went am way ma pal, me wondering who this pal is….. toilet door opens out steps Benny Harvey….. MA PAL. Ma pal is ally mccoists pal. Irrelevant review i know but aye a canny believe ally mccoist is ma pals pal. Amazin stuff
The staff here were incredibly rude and unpleasant. Add to that the overpriced drinks, the uncomfortably loud music and the lack of seating and this isn't somewhere I would ever want to find myself again. Its only redeeming feature was the fairly pleasant patrons, none of whom gave us the slightest bit of trouble we had left another Greenock bar earlier in the evening as one of the customers had a bit too much to drink and was becoming aggressive towards the staff.
Wonderful establishment me and my pal ally come here every weekend for a wee cider and golden wonder great atmosphere highly recommend
Worst pub in greenock barman with no sense of humour didn't feel welcome as I thought it was closed as he was doing paperwork didn't seem to interested in serving me won't be back and why is there no track and trace to sign
