Decent authentic Indian cuisine. The chana puri are great starters and the food very fresh, decent quantities, well priced, and good service. Decor is a little dated and tables quite close but I went here for food rather than atmosphere and it definitely delivered. Will be back.Food: 4/5
Perhaps better to order with tracking through deliveroo, just eat etc. than do the restaurant a favour and order directly. Regular calls after 90 minutes, 2 hours and staff on the other end of the phone kidding us that it's going to be there "any minute" and had left the restaurant. Clearly hadn't left at any point whilst on the phone to the owner who was blatantly lying to us. It turned up piping hot 2.5 hours after the order placed, not lukewarm as you'd expect if it's been sitting in a car/bike for 45-60 minutes. Would have much preferred some honesty here. Food was fine - nothing to shout about for the hassle.
The best Indian food I’ve ever tasted!!! Lovely atmosphere and very kind owners!! Highly recommend Light Of Bangal Food: 5/5
