Just picked up my wheel that I dropped into the store yesterday. The staff were top notch and upfront about the repair. I was kept informed and asked about alternatives which I didn’t require, I liked been given all the options available. The price was very competitive and the workmanship very good indeed. I’ll definitely be using their services again. If you’re requiring bike services you can’t do much better in the Leeds area.
It was such a relief to find this place. Other bike shops in Leeds we're giving 2 week wait times for my bike to be fixed. They did it while we had a lovely iced chai and a cinnamon bun on their sofas in their cafe. It did spill over until the next day but I'll be commuting again by Monday! The prices are decent and the advice is sound. Other shops cannot compete with this!
Amazing bike shop. A wide range of bikes to chose from and wide range of tools and products to chose from aswell. Outstanding mechanical skills, get the job done as soon as they can. Also have what you need when you need it. Never had any bad experiences.
Took my e bike to have a few minor tweaks. Fantastic ‘while you wait’ service, friendly staff and really good price. Amazing coffee and blondies too!
Yas has been working on my bikes for the past 5 years and I have learnt lots from him. I also had a bike fit which solved my aches and pains on the bike. Today I went in for a replacement chain which was done while I waited, they don’t charge labour on some simple jobs so I only had to pay for the chain itself, no other shop in the country does this! I also had a nice coffee and cake whilst they did the job. Definitely the best bike shop I’ve ever used. Thanks to everyone at Lifecycles
So just been for my first visit at cycle life had my brakes fitted and a coffee in the shop , super super service & so clued up. Fantastic customer service. And the coffee is fantastic, highly recommend
Awesome bike shop! There is plenty of advice, which is freely given by the owner, who is very approachable and knowledgeable with no pressure for a sale. I've always been really happy with what ever work has been done on my bike; it seems like a new bike when I pick it up! Not sure what else you could want from a bike shop, but you may also be lucky enough to receive a cuppa and a biscuit when you visit! Please note - cuppa and biscuit currently not standard
If I could give negative stars I would. I’m sure there are many satisfied customers that haven’t had the need to return an item… I have given this business enough time and not given negative feedback but there is a point, enough is enough. A business is judged on how they deal with complaints and faults. I’ve spent over £5,800 on a bike that developed a fault after 3 month 900 miles I’m now over 8 months without a bike and beyond poor customer care from Yas and Emma. Whatever response is posted in reply to this is hot air and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your dream bike. Update… The merchant has actually changed their reply as the first had the tone I see in day to day dealings. The below states factually inaccurate information for example I said I was over the moon with the bike a week after I got it… until it developed a fault that made it unusable, I wasn’t over the moon anymore. Not under warranty- I have two emails from them that accept a warranty claim. Firstly for the repair which was never checked before pick up and as soon as I got it home realised it had the same fault this was 3 months after the bike was returned then for a replacement which has now taken 5 months, which I have currently refused due to continued poor communication, so have lost all confidence this merchant will deal with any future issues any different. It took me 5 months to get an itemised receipt I have email proof to register the components, and sometimes a month or more before a response or confirmation of action, usually I only got a response when I threat to take them to court or spit my dummy out. Eventually 7 months I was offered a refund of £1300 for a frame I was charged over £2k - fail to prove me wrong by itemising the bill, the new frame is no more than what I was charged but again failed to itemise to back up the claim of £9k. Currently having a fight to get a refund - 8 months of my life with no bike, no £5.8k hours spent with Citizens Advice, emails and Section 75 and they cry victim to a negative review, which I held off giving for 8 months! The difference here is I have evidence of everything I state, they are just spitting false information out…. As expected. Avoid. Update 3: For the third time the merchant has changed their response, if needed I’m happy to share all correspondence. While having no bike or the money present from my 88 year old mother I’ve hoped for 8 months we could resolve this issue…
They’re just the god damn nicest people. One of the best bike stops around. Always willing to help, give advice and not force stuff on you.
How refreshing to find people who understand the meaning of customer service. I called in the shop with the intention of purchasing a cassette lock ring tool had a lot of difficulty sourcing the correct one. The staff member was incredibly helpful and spent time trying to locate the out of stock tool. A staff member I suspect owner actually took my wheel and used the workshop tool kit to secure the cassette. He refused any payment when offered so I ordered the correct tool and purchased other bits. Fantastic service and will be my go to establishnent in the future. Take a bow for an excellent service
