We just stopped off as we were passing through Todmorden on the way to Hebdenbridge to purchase items for our evening meal . The store wasn't very busy but we had to wait as there was only one assistant serving on the cash till ?. He was very efficient and unfased under pressure well done . The store would be more efficient if there were selfservice tills !!! .
Always loved a good Lidl middle aisle on a Monday or Thursday, BUT when will they EVER sort out the manning of the tills? If you just want to buy one or two items the minute you see the queue fir the till you end up putting it down and walking out - I get every Lidl has this issue to keep costs as low as possible but I also wonder how much in sales they miss out on because of it.
Great prices but you're staff let you down went 21/3/23. At 14:02. I Was served by a blond guy I had a problem with Lidl plus app it wouldn't scan. The guy on the till refused to help. I eventually managed to scan this after several attempts. He closed the till after serving me. As I was packing shopping he reopened the till number 2. Refused to serve other customers but 2 more tills were open he then served himself with what looked like his lunch. He used his discount and paid by card. I always thought that staff shouldn't be serving themselves unless it's a self serve it wasn't as they only have operated tills. This guy's attitude was all poor as if he didn't want to be there.and not the service I would expect from Lidl.
Ok ' have most things when there is not a world shortage . . .i would'nt say in this climate that they are cheaper than any other supermarket out there . . .
Nice store got some pork chops i like a pork chop on a Sunday some time i manage to burn it oh well that's life.
Brilliant shop well situated, clean store with plenty of staff and products.
A nice clean store to walk around and shopping is good value.
Love lidl get everything I need and the products they sell are second to none
Great discount grocery- supermarket. A good selection of vegan foods and products. Also a growing range of 'free from'.They do put effort into providing consistency and they do great promos .'Flavour of the month' and this month I'm in heaven as its Greek cuisine.Cheeses goat and sheep's milk I've never tried before,really great range of different products. Everything chilled and expansive car parking space complete with electric auto chargers.There is access to the canal walkway so I often place the shopping in the boot and walk a little,along the canal where wildlife flourishes.
Definitely better than Aldi, cheaper than Morrisons.
