I went to Lidl in Folkestone for the first time in over six years as I had moved. away but come back to Folkestone. What a contrast from what it used to be like. Admittedly it was Easter Monday, but it was untidy, crowded and nothing like it used to be. Walking round, a lot of shelves needed sorting and were not easily accessible. In the aisles conditions were even worse. The Lidl shops in Ramsgate and Canterbury are a pleasure to shop in, this Folkestone one was like a bunfight, with staff trying to.clear away used boxes etc. I don’t think I will be going there again in a hurry. Can’t believe what a difference it is from six years ago. Just another reflection of Folkestone going downhill, big time.

Quite a good selection, but slightly out of the way of the main shops from town. Hawkinge store is nicer inside so would recommend going there instead

Good deals, but vegetables and fruits frequently come rotten. Some offers are also misleading since they reduce the amount.

Nice store with plenty of stock and friendly staff but parking is a mission as unless you drive a city car the spaces are not great for larger vehicles.
