Great products, fresh, bakery and produce is particularly good on Saturdays mornings. Ample parking and polite staff. Above all its definitely Great in quality and Lidl in price!
Seems to be the trend now for checkout operatives to be talking /gossiping to colleagues about non work related matters .. making no eye contact and negligible interest in the customer,, other than a breif reference to the app ,and state the total cost.. i find this ignorant and disrespectful to common courtesy.. which it would seem to be a disappearing art ,,, i will take my business elsewhere after several incidents of this behaviour now..
One of the better Lidls in halifax, the stock is always decent, checkout staff and workers are always super friendly and fast. The store can get very busy at lunch and rush hours. Large carpark.
Lidl’s is one of the best grocery stores to use in my opinion . The prices are always within reach of the working man’s pockets . You can pick up a family shop for 4 at a great price . Only thing that lets them down in my opinion is the amount of tills that are unmanned , which I get reduces running costs , I think the staff at Lidl should be more away of the queue’s that are forming and be a little quicker getting staff to other tills to open . But overall still a great store to use .
Lidl is losing its chokehold on cheap prices, the big names are catching up quick, whatsmore...the magic middle aisle is getting like a jumble sale, nothing appealing for a loooonnnng time
