Today at 13.38pm I had the misfortune of having the worst case of customer service at the Lidl in Sowerby Bridge. The dark haired checkout assistant who was on till No 1 was unfortunately the most aggressive and obnoxious person I have ever encountered. I am a regular happy customer of Lidl but today I have made the decision to take my business elsewhere and vote with my feet. I was with my elderly disabled mother and was astounded by the way she conducted herself and the utter disrespect that she showed us as paying customers and the way she manhandled the groceries that we were buying. She refused to wait until the customer in front of us had finished packing their groceries and when asked to please wait until they had finished she refused and continued flinging our groceries along the checkout. I would suggest that she needs further training and until such time as she can conduct herself in public in a reasonable manner should be redeployed in a non customer facing role.
I love lidl, good working class shop with great funny staff and a general good atmosphere.
As always love my Lidle in sowerby bridge always excited to see the following weeks magazine and love our happy staff always a smile and helpful.. Oops nearly forgot the different countries of being able to buy and taste of foods ..just perfect
