A great supermarket, with a good selection of fresh produce, meat products and everything else. I prettily recommend their meat selection, all the meats I’ve tried are excellent quality and very reasonable. Their bakery is the same very tasty and very reasonably. I love shopping here.
Had a horrible experience in this store today. The lady on till 1 was talking to another member of staff in a foreign language over my head while putting my shopping through the till I felt really uncomfortable. I found it rude and inconsiderate. I realise people come from all walks of life, but I don’t agree with speaking their own language while at work.nWhat good would my emailing do? Won’t alter my experience. I don’t want compensation. I just felt uncomfortable. It was bad manners!
Very large Lidl, lovely bakery, never come across issues with the quality of the food. Staff are friendly and keep the store tidy and well stocked. No issues with queuing at check out, staff make sure to open more tils if queues are forming. There’s an Aldi further down stanningley road but I prefer this for size and overall look/feel of the place
I have always put Lidl 4 stars before, but now there is not any difference as before.nHigh prices, the Lidl plus offers not as before , just empty shelves.nPlease Lidl, become as you were before Brexit.
