Generally a good selection of food and reasonable prices, however, two negatives - key lines can suddenly disappear, like tomatoes stocking issue? and also veg can go off very quickly - I have had carrots and broccoli go to seed in 3 or 4 days... this suggest they are already old when they hit the store.
Parking area is a bit small but then it is hemmed in as it's in the town centre, good choice of products and price is always good
The new entrance is further from the disabled bays than the parent/child bays which is where I tend to park, even though I have a blue badge. And there is no footpath to the entrance from the disabled bays, you have to walk where the cars drive. So poor for safety. Though they have the friendliest staff of my local 3 lidls, though the bakery tends to run out of everything by 5pm most days.
The store itself is okay. The staff that work there are always really helpful. There are people that shop there that are morons... They take up the parent and child spaces one old man took two spaces, and swore at me and my two year old when I asked if he could move over. We have a baby and need the extra door space to get her in and out. It has stopped us going as much. The staff said there is nothing they can do.
The staff are nice and helpful and the shop is always well organised.nThe annoying thing is that there's no policing of who uses the parent and child spaces, and they're always being used by people with seemingly invisible children. It's really annoying when I can't get parked easily to shop here with my 6 month old son. Also, the toilets seem to rarely be open, I had to change my son on the floor of the shop infront of the toilet door the other day because yet again they were apparently out of order.nStart issuing parking tickets to those that use the parent and child spaces who don't have children and it'll soon stop the lazy morons from using them.
