We shopped at Lidl Westwood today , it used to be a store where the staff were friendly and helpful, today I got the feeling we were just an inconvenience!
Lidl used to be my favourite supermarket. However, a couple of years ago at Christmas time I bought vegetables like sprouts, carrots et cetera for Christmas dinner. When preparing the Christmas meal, I found out that the vegetables were already off,. That was a common problem with fresh produce at Lidl. I switched loyalty to Aldi, and I have no regrets. Their products are better and fresher and obviously for that reason they are much busier and have bigger customer base and more branches than Lidl.nLidl have a long way to go to regain customers confidence, they need to increase the range of their products to attract customers back and perhaps go back to the benefits of the old Lidl plus system which have been drastically reduced.nLidl take notice
