I love Lidl near Westwood Cross. OK, it may sometimes run out of certain items, but I can usually get a full shop for much lower prices than the main supermarkets, The staff are friendly, helpful and very efficient when checking you out. I quite like seeing if I can pack quicker than they check the shopping through. They always win!
Was looking for an item we couldn't find , walked round and round the shop looking for help couldn't find any one felt like shop was empty apart from the cashier, then someone appeared and I asked if he was the only one in the store he told me there was staff in there , but we went around the shop twice we never saw anyone , very frustrating
Rat!nWe went into the store around 8pm on the weekday and there was a customer with a pet rat on his shoulder. We discreetly informed a manager who was stocking shelves and he looks embarrassed and nonchalantly says he's in every day. Not banned, a frequent customer in a store where they have an open bakery and fresh fruit and veg.nOther than that, the store is ok-ly stocked, the same things are out of stock frequently. Its normally kinda messy and it's a bit of an old and small store. Would be ok if it wasn't for their attitude about a rat - pet or not - in the store
Wish I could give zero stars. Went shopping just before closing and even though there were still a couple of minutes left the staff started shouting and was very rude. They stood behind us like we were stealing which was really uncomfortable. Definitely not how customers should be treated . Not shopping here again unless things change.
Wish I had the option to give 0 star. Went to the store up at Westwood today as I was loading my shopping onto the conveyor my daughter accidentally knocked a bottle off the conveyor and the plastic lid broke I apologised to the cashier and asked him if I could grab another one to which he started being extremely rude and kept continuing to make sarcastic comments and was speaking into his mouthpiece to another member of staff slagging me off while i was packing my shopping and at this point i have had enough with this extremely rude ignorant cashier and ask him if he had a problem as he kept on bad mouthing me to his colleague and being rude, his response is that I wasn’t talking to you and didn’t answer my question. This isn’t the 1st time this has happened, he was rude to my partner on another occasion
