Lidl
"Everyone knows we're Lidl on price. So, it's time to tell you what we're Big on. We're Big on Quality. Big on the big shop. Big on all the things that matter. Big on the things that make cupboards and bellies and life feel fuller. Big on detergent that gets your socks white and cheese that knocks them off. Big on carrots that crunch and chillies with bite. Big on cuisine from far and wide, and meat from local farmers. Big on brands and biscuits and baby stuff and bicycle pumps and butter. We're Big on everything. Except of course, on price, because that's where we'll always be Lidl."

Update June '24. It's been a lot better for stock recently! Lidl on price, Lidl on the shelves. The shelves are often empty and often for the same things week after week, so shopping here has become very frustrating it used to be my go to supermarket. Then you get to the tills and often have to queue for ages. Despite a recent refurb, there are no self service checkouts like other Lidl stores. The staff openly tell shoppers that they're understaffed and that they're not allowed to open extra tills unless the queue is very long. It all needs to be a Lidl better.... The parking system is also run by the most evil parking enforcement company in the UK, Parking Eye. You have 10 mins to exit the carpark after scanning your receipt or face a ridiculous and disproportionate fine of £90. Parking Eye do not negotiate and and are not friendly in any respect. Beware!
Good little shop as you leave you have to scan your receipts and enter reg little frustrating if shoo gets busy but overall great
Never again. I usually love Lidl and do most of my shopping at Salisbury or Devizes. I visited Eastleigh as a one off and now have a £45/£90 parking charge that I had no idea I was in line for, just for not seeing a particular sign I assume exists there somewhere. I didn’t notice any signs saying I had to enter any details nor did anyone in the store prompt the required action. Cruel and unethical practice, trying to trick people, especially as this does not apply to many other local Lidl stores which have standard free parking for their customers. Why would customers not used to the Eastleigh store think to do anything differently than they usually do? Won’t be returning and now feeling rather negative about the Lidl brand in general.
Mostly available parking. You need to register your car with the barcode from receipt for free 90 min stay. But please check the board when you park. The registration counters for the car there are quite a few after checkout. Need a £1 coin to release the trolley which you can get back after returning the trolley. There are rolling type hand buskets inside so the trolley is not necessary in case you do not have the coin. No toilet facilities. Nearest Toilet facility is Eastleigh rail station just walking distance. Good Bakery products collection. Checkouts are reasonably fast but could be always better. No cash machine. No restaurant inside.
But disappointed but not surprised at customer service. Wrong products in wrong places suggesting muh cheaper prices and then refusing to honour the displayed price. Wonder how many other customer tricked by this.
It's a small handy store with parking, but it's only free if you purchase produces and scan your receipt and add your car reg.
Ok to get a few bits but generally one of the worst stores for only having 1-2 out of 6 checkouts open, why are there 6 then?! Meaning you have to queue behind trolley fulls just for a few items. Please bring in a self service option for small baskets! After so many similar complaints this is still a problem.
The usual Lidl issue of not enough tills open and we're talking Saturday prime time here and not some obscure late night shopping trip but what's even worse is that they demand that you enter your car registration number EVERY time you shop there. If you don't and you park up for more than 90 minutes then they fine you £90!
Shop is clean and staff are nice but security like to follow you around
Fantastic shop the only criticism I have is that when you only pop in for a few items there isn't a self check out, you always have to queue behind people doing there weeks shopping
