Have been shopping at Asda Eastleigh for 33 years and I've never been so dissatisfied as I've been for the last few weeks, the store is terrible, stock is not available and now they've altered the opening times which is not convenient for me. The staff are always polite and willing to help but I feel sorry for them to work in that environment. I now shop at Sainsbury's and can truthfully say I've have a fantastic experience shopping there and got everything I've needed under one roof and the quality was fantastic so unless Asda change for the better I won't be going back there anytime soon
Have just returned from the store, which I have not visited for sometime. I cannot believe how shabby and dirty it looks. I couldn't find many basic items but the lowest point of my trip into the store was the need of my 3 year old granddaughterd to use the toilet. The mother & baby toilet was out of order and looked like it had been vandalised so I then took her into the ladies which I cannot express enough was the worst toilet I have ever visited. The stench was making us both reach. We found the best of the worst , dirty toilets and quickly just used it. The flushes were missing or broken and the taps were also broken but we could not get out of there quick enough. I cannot believe how much this store has declined. The staff look fed up and as if they do not want to be there either. A one star was me being generous as I don't have an option for zero!!
Fruit quality very low, no bread available most times. When stocking workers tend to leave their stuff in front of shelves preventing clients to pick up what's there and "apparently" available to be bought. Sorry no one available to help you. Should I continue?
I'm not a checkout person, nor a shelf filler, pricing person or sign writer. Long gone are the days these things happened at Asda. Replaced by: Impossible to use tills that do not recognise your bags, requiring a member of staff to allow you to shop! Did I mention it's nearly all SELF SERVICE! Half empty shelves that look uncared for by too few staff or poor choice, example today, no fresh salmon. Shelf edge pricing missing or for the wrong item. Signs above aisles incorrect, needing you to look for things endlessly. Waitrose may cost more but they serve you as we expect as paying customers! Aldi round the corner has full shelves, staffed tills, and correct pricing. How hard is it Asda??
26/05/24 Opening hours now posted 06:00-22:00 Monday-Wednesday, 06:00-00:00 Thursday-Friday, 10:00-16:00 Sunday & Holidays. The ending of 24hr opening is yet another minimization of convenience and maximization of profits. Between the phasing out of human checkouts, seeming unwillingness to take cash payments, facial recognition and narrowing opening times, the "convenience" of hypermarkets operated as a monopoly by immeasurably huge international corporate interests is coming to an end.
Scam, laziness or system failure? Onion sauce is not part of the mix and match. We always carefully check the prices and offers, but this was well hidden in plain sight.
There is now no changing rooms available in the clothes section as apparently stealing has become so bad so this now affects genuine customers. When asked what to do if we want to try on clothes we were told “you’ll just have to purchase all the clothes & take back what you don’t want at a later date” shocking!! The store is run down & the food quality has really gone down. Used to regularly shop at Asda but no more - quality of food is so poor & the store too but everything is so expensive! The only good thing about this store is the lovely ladies who work in the scan&go section! So disappointed in Asda
Well let's start with the positives, nice clean store that appears to be well stocked . Now to the negatives no longer 24 hours miss shopping at night and no longer ideal if your a shift worker ,secondly the lack of tills is disheartening and a bit of a pain and thirdly lack of staff during peak times on the kiosk/customer service if you were to use these be prepared to queue for up to 20 minutes
Absolutely disgusting store pallets all stacked up the aisles and cages but no stock on the shelves and not a single member of staff to be seen except at the tills used to be a great store whats happened ? Never come here again
I bought the ingredients for an absolutely peng lasagna. Now you’d think it’s a bit generous to give Asda too much credit, but without the ingredients Asda was able to provide, the 3 lasagna dishes would have been empty. So thanks Asda!!
