This five star review is for a particular staff member called ROWE. We were on his checkout. He was due for his break but he didn't rush away, instead he helped us understand our lidl app to get not only a discount on the pizza we had bought but £5 off our shopping! We have always had the app but never understood it so we stopped scanning it. But thanks to Rowe we now think the app is worth downloading and we're grateful he took the time to show us the offers and how it works! Many thanks and definitely need more people like Rowe in the world- patient and kind.
I had good experiences in this shop previously. But last Friday I purchased a ready meal and upon eating it I've found RAT POOP half dried in the meal!!! Because it crumbled out of my hand and I obviously wasn't thinking about taking pictures, I washed my hands and threw up immediately afterwards.nTraumatized me so badly I'm never going to buy ready meals ever in my life.nAs soon as it got into my mouth with the pasta I spit it out and could immediately smell it.nBecause I did not take pictures I'm sorry but my first thought was HOW EFFIN DISGUSTING THIS IS AND IT WAS IN MY MOUTH AND HAVE TO CLEAN MYSELF they are not investigating the issue. I reported the issue to the health department. I still have all the packaging saved up in a bag so they'll collect and test it.nBut this means that any other meals of theirs could contain it!! And they are not investigating it!nI cannot care less about a refund of like £2,60 or something. They always think it is about the money pfffnIt was a Chef Select Ham and mushroom tagliatelle and I am researching what else they are making in the same place so I'd never buy it. Beware!nn-------nnWhoever replied to my review they clearly never read it. It states that I have contacted customer service who literally told me because I could only take a picture of the residue case is closed. Meanwhile I am sick with food poisoning and waiting for test results!
Good choice of products, i found similar products a bit pricier than the aldi down in colindale, but still got everything i needed in store. Went around 4pm and store wasnt too busy so was able to get around quickly and get on my way home. This store has a car park with a good amount of parking spaces
