The store was clean, well organised, and had a good selection of products at affordable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful, and checkout was quick and easy. I'll definitely be shopping here again.
The shopping was fine; however, my experience was negatively affected by a manager named Hashmi. He was unhelpful, rude, and was openly shouting at staff during peak hours, creating an uncomfortable environment for both employees and customers. I often see him not working.
Dear Lidl Customer Service Team,nI would like to raise a complaint regarding the sub-checkout self-checkout service at your store.nIn my experience, the sub-checkout was slow and caused unnecessary delays due to system issues and lack of staff support. It would have been much quicker to open a staffed till, which would have reduced waiting time and frustration for customers.nSelf-checkouts are meant to speed up shopping, but in this case, opening a normal till would have been the more efficient option. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve customer service during busy times.nThank you for your attention. I look forward to your response.nYours sincerely,nAkseer Jabarkhil
It has always good price deals but since there are no supermarkets like it around it is pretty crowded and disorganized.nIf you are heading to get the weekly deals such as electric stuff on lidl it is best to pay a visit early morning when they stock up everything
The Lidl in Edgware, located at 51-55 High Street, has mixed reviews from customers. Many shoppers appreciate the store for its affordability and wide range of products, including groceries, household items, and fresh produce. The store is open from 7 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sundays, making it convenient for a variety of shopping schedules.nnHowever, some customers have noted issues such as stock shortages on essential items like milk, eggs, and bread, as well as problems with the car park, which is said to have numerous potholes. Additionally, the preference for self-service tills over staffed checkouts has been mentioned as a point of inconvenience for some shoppers.nnOverall, while Lidl Edgware is valued for its competitive prices and diverse product range, improvements in inventory management and customer service could enhance the shopping experience. If you're looking for an affordable supermarket with a good variety of products, it can be a good choice, but be prepared for potential inconveniences.
