It’s clean, medium size gym with affordable price £40 including swimming, sauna and fitness classes. I go there in the afternoon or mornings, sufficient amount of machine to use and not very crowded. There are friendly instructors around… I am surprised how low it’s reviews are. definetely more than three stars overall.
Very reasonably priced gym £38pm with free classes available spin, circuits. Machines and weights are fine and never have had to wait for long. Staff friendly and smiling I have found.
I’ve only used the pools and they are very clean and comfortable to use. The price is fair for what you get. The dressing rooms could be so much better
Avoid, avoid avoid, swimming pool freezing cold, showers and changing filthy, dirtysmell, probably pick up some horrible germs, parents dumping there gear in changing so no cubicles, smell of sweat, things floating around in the pool like tampons, the gym is filthy, broken locks and doors in swimming change, one staff in the gym just sits on a chair all day while the place is filthy with no tissues, two managers I think there names are Zara and Chris, God knows what they do just sit in the office all day, very hard to get hold off, don't think they care. As long as they have a big salary and nice car in the car park they don't care I feel, prices have gone up ridiculously especially soft play, half the gyms broken, the Place is a dump!
Just recently joined the Centre, I wish they had a better variety of classes, I think the staff need to up their game, the staff member in the gym during the weekdays just sits on a chair looking fed up, the guy on the weekend seems to be more interested in training himself than helping others and working, I like the equipment and gym though on a positive note.I also wish they were open after 5pm on weekends, it's a bit early 7 or 8pm is better.
Broken cross trainer and reported it number of times and can’t be bothered to put up a not in use sign. Don’t waste your money got to a proper gym and with 24hrs of use. Bad bad bad bad bad
Horrendous gym, smells absolutely terrible not to mention the rude and impolite staff, was doing my set and got told to leave because I “was making too much noise” yet all I did was put the weight down in a calm manner avoid this better gym
If there are more than 3 people using free weights, you’ll have to wait and can’t use the smith machine either, as this £35pm gym only has 3 benches… Very overpriced for the ammount of equipment if you are there for weights and not cardio. More than 7 3 benches, 2 cables, smith and squat rack people on weights and it’s already too busy… Edit: Softplay went from £2 to £6 for literay no reason, roof still leaking, nothig upgraded…ridiculous…
Now costs £6.00. Used to be £1.90 which was a reasonable price considering how basic the soft play is and how long since last refurb. I feel £3.00 would be a fair price for what is on offer.
Big disappointment. Me and my boyfriend have been going to this pool for a long time. We are not crazy about the facilities, but they had lots of Swim for Fitness sessions after school and it was very convenient for us- given that we both work in education. Plus the pool was always quieter and kid-free unlike other pools. Unfortunately, overtime the adult slots between 4.00 and 7.00pm disappeared, and the pool was closed on Sundays. That meant that we either had to go home and go to the pool really late at night having to wake up early the next morning, or just go on Saturdays. Today we booked the Swim for Fitness session as they happened to be open on Sunday, and there was NO indication whatsoever that this would be a joined session with the ''Swim for All''. We arrived to a pile of screaming kids and noisy parents, the lanes had been made incredibly narrow, the pool was packed and crammed, and not following ANY social distancing. I pay £60 monthly and my partner pays £30, to have access to the pool barely once a week, and with screaming kids. This is unacceptable. You should NOT be mixing kids sessions and adult sessions, and young kids should not be allowed in the Swim for Fitness sessions. We will be cancelling both our memberships and signing up for another chain.
