This is email I sent them twice with no reply.nnI received a quote from Safestore in Leith for a 100sq unit which I have attached.nTheir price was 12 weeks @ £24.66 then remaining weeks at £38.53 per week.nI visited your Granton branch after reading your website claimed 'Never beaten on price' and 'We'll happily match any comparable quote found elsewhere'nI was told at your Granton branch that price couldn't be matched on a 100sq unit so I said I would happily take a smaller 75sq unit at that price,  I was told the best they could do was £28.85 only for 8 weeks on 75sq unit then moving up to £59 pw following that.nI accepted the offer thinking I would move storage after the 8 weeks.nOut of curiosity I called your Sighthill branch to see if they could match Safestore,  the assistant there was extremely helpful and said not only could they match Safestore 100sq unit price they could better it with 8weeks @ £17.75 followed by the remaining weeks at £35.50.nI would like to keep my belongings in the Granton branch and wondered if it would be possible to either match Safestore or Lens Sighthill price.

I can’t recommend Lens Self Storage highly enough. From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful situation completely effortless. I contacted them on very short notice, and not only did they accommodate me, but they went above and beyond in helping move, organize, and store all my belongings with care and efficiency. Everything was handled quickly, professionally, and with a level of service that’s rare to find these days. Their team was friendly, responsive, and clearly takes pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a storage company that truly delivers peace of mind, Lens Self Storage is the one.

Overall good service. They even received deliveries on my behalf for loading into my storage unit.nWhat I feel they could improve on is a review of their policies that seems to punish loyal customers.

I used to enjoy going there and the people were friendly, but fees became extortionate. Additionally, the check out was troublesome. One day after receiving my last invoice I emailed to ask whether I could be reimbursed for the weeks I don't use the storage. They said my contract didn't allow for that. However, when I returned the fob and checked out with two weeks still to spare they said that only if you move out a maximum of 4 days after the start date of the last invoice, they'd reimburse. I was flabbergasted. They should have told me that when I sent that email 1 day after receiving the invoice and contacting them! I feel I've been robbed of £122 pound. This is so much money! Upon check out they called it 'miscommunication' I think this is misinformation. They said it was written in my contract, I think they should have informed me properly when I emailed them and asked for information.

Very efficient service from Lara.  Showed us lots of alternatives and once we made the decision as to which unit was best we were able to move our stuff in the next day.  Reasonable prices too.
