Saw the ruins from the road and quickly turned in for a look. Free to walk around, no staff in the off season. Beautiful old ruins, huge arch in particular.

Interesting place to explore and dog-friendly. Car park a little puddled and muddy but roads good and the site firm under foot even when I visited in February 2017.
