Well I have met with jacky who is a family assessment worker she has listened to me and made me feel like there is hope in the system but overall I can understand how frustrating it is as a male victim of abuse and on top not being able to see your child , there is need of lots of reform in the system to make it equal for fathers aswell as mothers , I have noticed the system is set to stereotype men as the abusers not women. Not being sexist or anything but this is from experience also they must be under funded over worked to as they keep cancelling and never do their job properly I have been waiting for months no contact with the actual socail workers and when I call them or message never get a reply. The government needs to sort this as the society is failing fathers no wonder a lot give up hope in the system and let the children grow up with out one.
They ignored child abuse reported to them over a 2 year period. Bias towards females made life very difficult for victim fathers to have a voice. Inexperienced, untrained staff made ill informed incorrect decisions resulting in abusers being free to groom young children physically and emotionally. No accountability, no empathy and no constructive care. Failure to respond, failure to investigate compounded abuse problems. Criminals are able to exploit loop holes in the social services systems and pray on weak inexperienced social workers to get away with abusing very young children. Absolutely disgusting considering awareness of child abuse in 2022. Retraining is of paramount importance and workers are required who actually care about stopping the abuse of children , instead of caring only about covering up mistakes and malpractice to prevent public exposure of the problems.
Social workers often get a bad press, however I have found them doing a great job under very difficult circumstances. i would particularly like to praise Sam Neale who has a fantastic relationship with our boys and is so supportive and caring. A huge thank you to everyone involved
Have done nothing about an on-going physical abuse of a child for years despite visual & video evidence. Absolutely awful service.
