Trying to call highways, now waited for 19 minutes ,no help whatsoever with an indication of queue number so this could go on forever... just 'we are currently experiencing high call volumes' , the only bit of clarity across awful crackling hold ' music'. So time wasting and annoying.
Worst council I have ever dealt with. My child has been waiting for her ehcp to be finalised for over 6mths now and can not go to school until this is completed. They have refused a meeting as they have no staff. Meanwhile my child stays home with no education or support or an updated ehcp. How they can just leave these vulnerable kids at-home is beyond me. The phone lines don't work and none replies to emails. Absolute sham of a council that should be ashamed of how they are failing the kids that really need the help in order to have a future! Derbyshire council are amazing compared to this lot. Absolutely disgusted how things are supposedly being run! 1 star is too generous!
One star for the lack of planning and signage regarding the roads works which have started by fosse park. 70 mins to just get down Soar Valley Way starting at 8.50pm. Wheres all the signage?
My devices to forget the highways department they’re absolute waste of time. We’ve tried for parking permits because we’re self-employed builders and they wouldn’t issue us one thank you highways department really appreciate that from a taxpayer.
Today was my first visit to the council office for my kids school admission query. I really appreciate the support I have received from team available at reception. The lady in the reception tried to answer my queries and as where she did not have answers, she immediately connected me to the concern team. It was really nice experience. Again appreoate the good work and keep it up. I will keep sharing my updates here.
