Well.........I originally enquired about Francine's course back in March. At that stage I was putting together my business plan so I could approach the bank to help me fund my business. Francine was very helpful from the start. She gave me all the information I needed to put the plan together and by April I had my funds :) I went on the course in June and I am now starting my own business "Sweeney Dogs". I have had a break from the grooming now for 8 weeks, however from the fantastic training I received, I feel confident enough to just get back into it. The course itself was very thorough and the variety of breeds and sizes I was able to see was brilliant. I too had never groomed before this, but from day 1, I was bathing and clipping!!! It is a very hands on course but also the theory side is very detailed too. I had a fab time every day with Francine and the dogs, and was gutted when my 3 weeks was up!!!! However I still keep in contact with her and I know that she is only a phone call away and always will be :) Thank you so much Fran for all your help through and after the course. I can't wait to start and I will keep you posted on how its going :) To everyone who is looking at this and wanting to go on a course, look no further!!!! You will not regret going with Francine and you to will have the best 3 weeks.......great lunches, good music (give it some heart) and lots of fun whilst working!!!! i spent three weeks in leicester training. Me and my partner were welcomed by Francine, she taught me all i need to know about dog grooming and more. She was very professional and helpful and i am now on my way to starting my own business. I would reccomend Francine to anyone seeking grooming courses, she knows what shes doing and the dogs look brilliant. I had an enjoyable time staying with her and the course was great. Thankyou. I have just completed the three week course with francine and from day one have gained so much knowledge and hands on experience most people take years to learn. you get to work with many different breeds and temperments from a relaxed yet highly professional work place. I would without a doubt advise anybody looking to proceed in a dog grooming course to give francine a call. Friendly, professional and enjoyable.. sandie
