This property has been seriously thought about as is obvious by it's luxurious renovation and stunning interior design. The views to the surrounding countryside for those of an urban lifestyle will be to die for, and is central to so many attractions in the Borders, you are spoilt for choice . Legerwood Steading accommodation is exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. Even the dog boarding kennels were five star! Melrose is close by and the ladies enjoyed the boutique style shopping it had to offer and of course the tea rooms and hostelries! They had time to visit Melrose Abbey but passed on the Eildon hill climb, saving it for a return visit. We had a long weekend here in October with a group of friends to fish on the Tweed , shoot and celebrate a birthday . Our hosts were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the Scott -Aiton family. Log fires and drams after dinner, then a snooker games room for the requisite tournament. Wonderful few days. Complete enjoyment!
