Back open on the site of the old Leeson Lounge but as a Wine Shop called Neighbourhood Wines. Opened during lockdown2 by Master of Wine Mick O'Connell and Shane Murphy.
Good venue for live pub music but don't expect a view of the stage from everywhere in there. Moderately priced drinks-not over expensive but wouldn't be raving about bargains either. Comfortable,not pretentious. Slightly better than average.
Came here on the Saturday night of the Bohemian Rhapsody "Karaoke" - what a blast! A tribute to Freddie by all sorts of people, some great voices and some not so great....but all fun......and with a superb pint of Guinness.....OK more than one pint.....we left after having a brilliant time! And it seems that there is a lot of other events going on here!
Great spot, not to busy, not to quiet. Nice pint of Guinness, good live music on a Tuesday night, normally Jazz. Also a good place to watch a match in peace, they have three screens and most of the crowd isn't that into sport.
A cost pub right in the heart of Dublin city. Friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced beer. The only downside is no smoking area and parking is limited and expensive. I would recommend this place if you're in town and want to go for a couple of quiet pints.
An old style pub with good comfy seats and a great pint. We dropped in after some work one night and got a fantastic seat to watch the Barcelona game. Fast service and nice atmosphere.
Great original bands play here every night of the week.. It's amazing... Saw the band LOS PARIDSO here, not to be missed. They play every Wednesday night..and it's free entry .. Yes free live music. Full bar and great location.
Decent spread of beers and good for events if you book ahead. The food while.plentiful if you get a platter leaves something to be desired Also if you're a professional around that area it's mostly full of Amazon people most nights
Great friendly pub run by nice people. We enjoyed the last two weeks of going there for a pint and a gin & tonic. Fully recommend a visit . Cheers Bob and Juanita. August 19 2019
It’s a great bar with live music. A touch eccentric. Friendly staff. If you don’t like it, then O’Brien’s next door will be more your scene.
