Decent course, makes for something different. A few blind holes which makes it tricky. The course is really hilly and hard work. Great views from the top though. 4 ball got round in 3 1/2 hours which means it was well organised as we didn’t have to wait on every tee box.
Drove past the entrance twice before finding the car park. Played the course on a beautiful sunny morning, stunning views all around. Course well maintained and greens good but a bit slow. Course is made up of 2 halves, 1st 9 for your average hill walker, back 9 for the mountain climber. There are too many blind driving holes, there are no yardage markers on the fairways which makes it difficult. Good friendly course, fair green fees, but be prepared for a hill climb.
I've played this course twice but my boy has lessons here, the staff are good, ok there are better courses but for its money it is a good course
First time we'd played here, nice course, a little hilly on the back nine, and a few blind holes! All part of the fun though! In very good condition and some great views! Well kept course and worth a visit!
Just had a footgolf party for my little boy, was absolutely amazing, staff were amazing, very accommodating as we had a couple of people late due to traffic after football matches, great value for money, the kids meals looked great, wasn't rushed at all, will definitely recommend and will definitely be back on a less windy day lol
Nice coarse , few cardiac hills to get up but really good view off greater manchester and surrounding areas.
Personally not over impressed and gave it three because of it being fairly scenic and in pretty good condition. Too many blind and make shift holes for my liking, never played a blind par 3 until this course which resulted in a lost ball from which I thought was a reasonably good shot! Course is quite hilly in places, which is not necessarily a bad thing but for some could be a bit challenging.
A hard slog around the course - up and down. Next time I'd leave my golf shoes at home and take hiking boots. Shortish holes, but sloping fairways so course management needed. Long rough waiting for you off the fairways. Quite a few blind holes where you hit and hope over marker posts, but if you get it right, they are well placed. First time I've seen a bell on a par 3 green to signal other golfers that you've left the green! It was a lovely day, but the greens were quite slow. I certainly lost a few pounds trekking around the course, but did actually enjoy the day. All staff I came into contact with were very pleasant.
Took my son to have a look around and also to have a starter lesson. Even though it was a very hot day there was quite a few children practicing their putting as well as their driving. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. I would recommend this Golf Club to all budding young golfers in the Oldham and surrounding areas.
Although distances are less but fairways are closer and configured along hills make it difficult. Enjoyed it
