The Silent Disco in this beautiful building was absolutely superb! Well organised, great staff, fantastic DJs & music and a lovely crowd. The lighting effects were fabulous and the atmosphere wonderful! Can’t wait for the next one!
Gorgeous church but not as old as other such churches in England
Truly a magnificent building. The design and craftsmanship is sublime. I was warmly greeted by the Rev Lynn and Chris a volunteer guide. Chris was so good in her role she knew when to engage and when to leave you to soak in the atmosphere and surroundings. I would definitely return if ever back in Leeds, but fully recommend if your able to visit.
Super, beautiful place in Leeds! It's good fabulous stained glass windows and throughout and is steeped in history. There's a great organ there and it sounds amazing. There's a cafe, seating area serving hot and cold drinks, a few cakes and homemade sandwiches, all run by really kind and lovely elderly volunteers. I took my granddaughter to visit the Minster on a Friday lunchtime . It was a good educational visit for us both actually. It's worth a cosy a Visit even if you're not religious and you're in the area. Cafe is cash only however there's a donation facility by card in the church, which I used to pay for our food and drinks. Thank you all at the Minster for making us feel so welcome. I
First time in the minster, what a wonderful church this is, some beautiful woodwork on the balcony. There is so much history and the people there were really interested in passing on some of the details of the church. If you have never been I would strongly recommend it. Life now a days is so fast, just step inside the church and you can feel relaxed as you sit for a few minutes and reflect.
Great venue. However, why hold such a music event here but only one unisex toilet for approximately 400 people. Maybe some of the ticket price could be spent on portaloos.Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedYes
Came here for a Fever Candlelight ABBA concert and it was absolutely brilliant. Such a nice venue for the type of event. All staff who I spoke to were brilliant, in particular one guy who's name I don't know who was particularly helpful with myself and a wheelchair user.
Lovely building on the outskirts of Leeds city centre set in its own grounds surrounded by old gravestones and gardens. There's a little park across the road but it's usually frequented by the local drug and alcohol users and it's usually littered with litter unfortunately due to the people who frequent the park and use it as a urinal and toilet facility...
Really lovely place to catch a music event. We saw a Taylor Swift quartet, which was extremely overpriced for what we got. But, it was a magical night, probably influenced by the fact that my great grandmother married in the Minster in 1909, and it was lovely to think she had walked there, and I have always wanted to visit.
