The tea was very nice and there was a great selection to choose from. The staff just did their jobs, they were not rude but neither were they friendly. As somewhere to work it leaves a lot to be desired. The seating has very subdued lightning and the music, though mellow in nature, was so loud I could hear it through my headphones even when they were on max. Overall, too much focus on being a trendy cafe and not enough on the basics.
Outstanding choice of tea over 50 I'd guess brewed lovingly with a choice of fresh cakes. Very reasonably priced £2.80 for two large cups of tea. Has free WiFi and relaxing music. As one reviewer mentioned before, the decor isn't perfect, but definitely has it's own unique, comfortable style. My girlfriend and I love coming here. Have recommended Lee Rosy's to many friends.
Amazing range of tea and great atmosphere with good music always playing. Downstairs seating is wonderful if you don't mind a few spiders. Staff are usually quite blasé and unenthusiastic, but the cakes make up for it. Lots of vegan/gluten free/lactose free options available.
Not the best brewed tea available same temperature water and same brew times for all types of tea, which means they're often burnt. However there's a large selection and it's fairly reasonably priced, so a good place to discover something new that you might like. Staff are often uninterested, so don't expect the most pleasant of service.
As a student it's a place I've frequented to either write essays or just meet up with some friends. They offer a smorgasbord of loose leaf tea, definitely something for everyone The strawberry and cream tea is divine vegan sandwiches and cakes are also made here- great taste, great atmosphere, the music playing is always perfect- and the staff, always friendly.
Amazing selection of teas my favourite is the black cinnamon tea! and very reasonably priced, especially if you just want a mug of it. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere and efficient service even when it’s very busy!
A gem! I have been visiting Lee Rosy's for years and although it has remained pretty much the same, that is the charm of the place. Why fix what isn't broken? Delicious selection of tea and sandwiches. The perfect place to watch the world go by over a pot of vanilla tea with a friend or to chill and do some work! Can get pretty busy even in the evenings as open late.
A cute little place to come for tea, offering a large range of tasty teas and cakes. It's got a nice easy-going vibe to it that feels very welcoming, and even has outdoors seating which is a nice touch in the summer.
A Nottingham institution. One of the best loose leaf tea selections you'll see anywhere. Tasty cake selection. Very popular with students and young professionals, they host live music and other cultural events such as book/poetry readings etc.
The best tea shop in Nottingham. There are one or two others but this is the notable one. Lee Rosy's does countless kinds of tea of every colour and flavouring, which they list in their menu. Besides making cups and pots of them in the shop they can also sell you the leaves. Also of course they do lots of kinds of coffee, soft drinks, some basic snacky foods, and several cakes whose slices are priced quite competitively. No alcohol and I don't remember seeing any meat. The main ground floor room is small but attracts lots of drinkers with laptops or catching up with friends. There is often music on but generally cool and quiet. Downstairs is a basement room with sofas and armchairs as well as the regular wooden furniture. This us sometimes rented, and the door can be closed to reduce the noise from above. Lee Rosy's has free Wi-Fi.
