I would advise using this store at all. Especially if your paying for items with a debit card. Staff member insisted card terminal couldn't be moved and asked for my card. I refused. They then said contactless payment wasn't working and could I give them my pin number. Again obviously I refused. Upon looking up there is a camera above the payment machine recording who knows what. I think they assumed everyone came up the Clyde on a banana boat. Extremely dodgy and concerning.
The attitude of the shop's owner is appalling. I went in to buy my electricity and gas credit from the PayPoint machine and he immediately started ranting and moaning at me about how I never buy anything else in the shop and how my PayPoint transactions are costing him money. I was unaware that there was any requirement to buy anything else in shops while making PayPoint transactions?? I have checked PayPoint's website and seemingly such retailer behaviour is against their rules and should be reported to them. Needless to say I have now made a complaint to PayPoint and will never be going anywhere near this store again.
