An excellent park, something for everyone here. It’s a nice green space with lots of trees that’s nice to walk around. Also a pond that I think is part of Withycombe Brook?.nnThe facilities here are excellent and they cater so well for different interests and age groups. There’s pitch and put, a bowling green and green gym equipment dotted around. Tennis courts too.nnFor children, there’s a younger children’s playground and one for older children. The playgrounds are next to each other. The skatepark is popular too and I saw younger children using it with scooters.nnPhear Park is a great example of what a park should be I unfortunately speak as someone who’s park where I’m from is having a sewerage pumping station built on it .
Delightful park area. We stopped to give the dog a leg stretch and discovered not only lots of space and grass but also a charming little cafe. I'm told it also has lots of amenities such as tennis and pitch and putt. The toilet block was clean and worked as it should. We normally drive straight past the place on the way to visit relatives but we would certainly visit again
Quick stop off at Phear Park while on holiday so that my son in law could skateboard at the skate park located in the grounds of the park. He rated the skate park highly and we had a lovely walk enjoying the surrounding magnificent trees. Clean toilet facilities and a refreshments kiosk made our visit even more of a success.
Wonderful place for a walk with children and dogs. It has an enclosed safe space for dogs. people need to clean up after the dogs in there. Has loos and a small outside cafe. Wonderful find.
Some fun lines here, but also quite a lot of space which doesnt really go anywhere - like the enormous quarter pipe you have to push like a maniac to get to. Also quite a lot of sparse space around the volcano thing. Pool was nice and tight. In summary plenty of stuff to hit though, so a fun day out if you're in the area. Free parking at the carpark at the top of the park.
