Fished yesterday at letchlade paid £90 for 4 fish and only caught one that weighed 1 and a half pounds when I arrived there was only one other person with his son, after7hrs I packed up and there where 5 other people fishing and only one other fish caught was we unlucky or ripped of £90 for one little fish ,when I spoke to the guy that was running it that day he sad that little one must have escaped its a shame some of the big ones did not escape, or maybe we all where just having a bad day,
After having seen so many photos of big fish I decided to make the four hour round trip to check out this fishery for a potential corporate day. Having fished for 45 years I wouldn’t say I was a bad fisherman, if there are fish there I can generally find them and put a few on the bank. I tried for four hours and eventually gave up and went home not having had a slightest touch. So disappointed as social media paints a very different picture of this venue. Alas I shan’t return and I’m glad I didn’t bring a car full of guests this time…try before you buy!
All shut up with a note to telephone a mobile number to contact staff if any assistance required. Left without any trout
Fantastic day very hard but I managed my limit credit to Tim and his team 18.3lbs 13.5, 8.6 and 6.2
