I have been with this surgery for 15 years and I have never had an issue. The last 5 times I have tried to book an appointment I haven't been able to get one. If you call you are on hold for an hour if not longer by the time you get through all appointments are gone. Online is awful every time I go on there all appointments are gone even if you go on at 8am. I have been to the walk in badger clinic with my kids every time I have needed to see a doctor in the last 6 months because of this issue they have been amazing I wish I could have them as my permanent doctors!
Poor! Spent an hour a 20 mins waiting for the phone to be answered from caller No5 it's ridiculous. What are the reception staff doing in the surgery?? Spent approximately 25 mins as caller No1 why did it take that long and then once the call was answered the reception staff tells me she's not the one who deals with doctors note and would have to call back Monday!
phoned up at one minute past 8 to be told all lines busy .so phoned at 9.30 to be told to phone at 8. just to get a doctors note.you can never get through in the morning .waste of time trying. verry unhelpful on the phone .nothing wrong with the staff .but surely something must be done.also had shingles on the face head and round the eye .5 weeks later dhingles gone but left an infection above the eye .told to go to the eye hospital .went to eye hospital .they told me my eyes fine .go to your doctor.phoned up doctors .explained it all .need something for pain and swelling .told to go to katy road leach heath medical centre is a couple of hundred yards from where i live .katy road is 6 miles away . crazy.
I have experienced on more than one occasion issues with getting medication.nFrom what I've been told by morrisons chemists and by your reception staff I am not the only one constantly having issues.nOn the 6th may I was prescribed medication fexofenadine.nI Was also prescribed periton to get over the counter but the pharmacist suggested that I would be better raking an alternative discussed with my doctor.nSo I sent messages and visited the surgery twice on the 7th and 8th still no lansoprazole prescribed although I was prescribed verbally at the doc it and told not to take it untill after my stool sample was done on the 7th.nToday the 8th still no medication available for me to rake the earliest on the 9th now in the morning so if I don't collect today it will be the 10th before I can rake it.nnThe system you use us most inefficient and requires the patient to chase you.nnI am having to visit or phone the pharmacy to see if they have received your prescription and invariably having to chase you.nSimple alternative you revert to the old system give me a paper one so I can take to the pharmacy after each doctor consultationnnUnfortunately couldn't send my complaint as the e mail address given by reception was incorrect.
Big praise to Dr Majd Abdel Rahim at this surgery. She is a wonderful Doctor who goes above and beyond for her patients. She takes the time to truly listen and understand and will do everything in her power to support your needs. We certainly need more doctors like you. Amazing service. Thank you x
