L'Entrecote began life in Paris in 1959 serving a deliciously simple menu of walnut salad followed by tender striploin with golden fries and the chef's secret sauce. The dish was so popular the owner decided to serve his customers seconds - after all, you can't have too much of a good thing!
The business has since grown to include seven restaurants across London, New York and Mexico City but the concept and quality remain the same. Steak-frites is one of the world’s favourite meals, enjoyed by people of all ages and all walks of life. We’re proud that our restaurants reflect the multi-cultural, cheek-by-jowl camaraderie of the world’s major cities. Our guests are often found chatting between tables or while waiting in the queue outside the restaurant. The unique atmosphere is one of the reasons so many customers come again and again.
