We were a bit disappointed with the food, the pasta were lacking flavour and the other dishes were nothing exceptional. It’s still good quality food, but we had to wait a lot; it took one hour to only get water and cheese beignets. The staff was very lovely though. I found the restaurant a bit dark and cold - it might be better to sit on the terrace. I wouldn’t mind coming back and trying other dishes as maybe our selection wasn’t the best, but it’s not making top of my list so far.
An incredible lunch! Some of the best French cuisine we’ve had in the UK. Just exquisite from start to finish. Compliments to the chef & even more so to our sever Joao who made the meal perfect, from wine advice to being attentive at every step of the meal. Can’t recommend enough! Thank you
We had a great time there! What a lovey and friendly staff that served us. We admire the courageous menu with plenty of vegan options. I loved the decor of the place as well. It’s great for a romantic date.
Just got back, a wonderful evening. We live relatively locally and a lot of our local places are closed for August, hey, they’re French. The cadre was wonderfully authentic, my French wife felt immediately at home. The service was superb and we were particularly fascinated by the manager João-Oliveira’s story, I’ll leave to you ask! The food was perfect, lovely choice of wines and they catered perfectly for my gluten intolerant guests. I’m hooked and we’ll definitely be back.
Nice place, food amazing, well presented and tasty. It's likely just the timing, but it would have been nice for some soft background music and a bit more patience for service. Would go back again as overall a pleasant experience. Dietary restrictions: There were some lovely gluten-free options suitable for intolerances, but I would double-check prior if you have coeliac disease.
Nice little restaurant. We only got dessert to share but it was delicious. The staff were really welcoming and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. We will have to go back to try the mains
Hidden gem French restaurant in Shepherd’s Bush/Hammersmith. Very satisfied with the food and drinks. Lovely place and friendly server. Giving this a 4-star rating because it took us 1-hour to wait for our food.
First time here. Staff are friendly. Food quality is good. We had a birthday cake and asked for them to serve as dessert. They put on the candle for us. They charged £5 per person. Not sure if this is expensive but their dessert exceeds this amount per person.Recommended dishesSmoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Confit Duck Leg
Went here for business dinner. Really nice place and cozy atmosphere. Polite service, some with heavy accents which isn't easy to understand for non native English speakers ; Good was delicious. Soup as a starter, some bread and Olives and of course steak and fries. Will come again
Loved this little place. Went two days in a row. Evening one night fixed menu with steak and fries and then Saturday morning confit duck and waffle. Was good on both occasions. Nice staff and food.
