Best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. Service is a little slow but the wine and food is so good it doesn't matter. Excellent freshly made pasta. Every time I go I am surprised and delighted.

Been here 3 times to the restaurant. Mainly very good food. Authentic Italian atmosphere. Had a lovely shop selling authentic ingredients. In summer on a warm night I used to go out the back and sit drinking wine in candlelight, with a lady friend . Very nice. Used to be a little pricey, but it kept the numbers down.

Best restaurant in York by a distance. If you want fast and generic service this place is not meant to be for you. Go when you plan to relax and enjoy great wine and food served at a slow pace.

Central location and a good range of choices make this place worth a visit if you;re passing.
