Great place for coffee. Nice and snug building, breakfast was excellent too. Friendly staff as well.

I don't drink many Chai lattes but this was the best one I've ever had. Whatever they do to steam the milk and add the cinnamon - almost candy like - foam to the top is magnificent. The Cafe, itself, is very cozy and a great place to hide out from the rain or cold of York. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Had a lovely coffee and cake sat outside in the sunshine. Tried it for breakfast the next day and it was lovely again. Good food good coffee and very friendly staff. Best coffee place we tried on our visit to York.

Quaint coffee shop with one of the cosiest seatings up top if you’re fortunate enough to claim a spot. Sticky toffee pudding is world class too and coffee carries a punch! Love it!
Very nice milkshake and scone. Cosy olde world with very steep, narrow steps. Quick service.
All vegans do yourselves a favour and get a vegan sausage toastie from here, it is incredible! Or anything with the vegan sausages!
Lovely place for a drink and sandwich. Staff are extremely helpful and polite. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommended x
