First of all 5 stars isn’t nearly enough for this school! This school has gone from strength to strength.. Mrs. McMurrough is a phenomenal headmistress who is understanding, helpful, firm and very fair in the way she deals with the children. She keeps us parents informed of all the plans of action in order to deal with the situation. I have had 3 children go to Layston first school and by the time my last one leaves we would have been at Layston for 14 years and we will be incredibly sad to no longer be there. The SENCO IS THE BEST!! Mrs.Betley is worth her weight in gold.. nothing is ever too much trouble and she literally goes out of her way to help you and your child. The school and teachers should all give themselves a big pat on there back for everything they do. So if you’re thinking about sending your children do not hesitate it’s an amazing school.
Love everything about this school, they make you feel like a close knit family.
