Great service from the ladies who work here and a lovely little tea room for afternoon tea and scones. The scones and hot drinks available are very nice, some may say a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. It's dog friendly and very close to Dunham park so ideal after a nice walk. There's a small section of seating inside as well as more outside, with two dog Friendly sections. They also have dog bowls with water so if your furry friend is thirsty they can drink here too.
Really nice place, good surroundings and nice outside area for dogs. Nice and warm inside, really friendly staff. Some gluten-free options available and a good selection of teas. Brunch looks nice, and they had a selection of sandwiches, all of which looked good. Would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately they had no dairy free milk or butter, meaning of you're lactose free or vegan there was very little choice. A simple improvement which I hope they will make in the future.
Always great cake, with VERY generous portions. Not the cheapest and don't take cards, but lovely to sit outside on a sunny day.
Lovely place for a quiet lunch. Food is really nice and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!
Really lovely environment and warm, friendly welcome. Dog friendly. Really good choice of meals and home baked cakes. Reasonable prices, with a lovely outside area for children when the weather is nice. We had the sourdough toast, bean scrambled eggs and bacon, very tasty. Berry fruit tea for two, in a full teapot, so plenty of refills.
Good coffee, great cafe stop if on a bike ride good selection of cakes. Cash only no cards
Stumbled upon by accident. Lovely place. Good toasties. EXCELLENT cakes.
A small group of us went here after walking round the grounds at Dunham Massey. Beautiful location, really friendly staff, awesome and very fairly priced food. We had loads but a friend and I had the afternoon tea at £9 each - an absolute bargain. I’ll definitely be stopping here on bike rides in the summer. Such a great little place!
The food was ok and the setting very nice. The toilet was out of order and they refused to let my 4yr old daughter use an alternative one. This assumes there was one but with 3 or 4 staff there all day, there surely was. Anyway, with a working loo it's an adequate lunch stop.
Hidden gem is the only way I can describe this place. The staff are always friendly, the food is lovely reasonably priced. Location is beautiful and so peaceful. They have all sorts of toys out for the little ones, dog friendly. I love this place.
