Highly recommend! Staff does your laundry roughly 90min for wash and dry and while you wait you get to hang out with their four Scottie’s! The owner is absolutely hilarious, often making jokes at your expense. We had great banter with him. Good snacks, drinks, and wifi. I’m so happy we chose the Laundry Kafe!
Laundry Kafe was a life saver for us! We were traveling the UK and needed a laundry mat/service. The hotel laundry service would have cost a fortune for just casual laundry about $100 and would have taken a day. Finlay, the wonderful person that helped us, got our two loads done in under two hours and for $20 a load. He handled most of it himself so all we had to do was drink tea/soda and munch on snacks. Plus, the surrounding area is filled with food options if you’d like to eat something more substantial.nnThis is a great option for travelers or locals alike! It was busy on the Friday we went but he got us in right away.
If your in need of some clean clothes for your trip / vacation. This is the spot. Staff was wonderful believe he was the owner not sure. Easy to email. Quick to reply back. We dropped our stuff off on a Sunday around 11 an picked up after 3pm. We walked from our hotel which was a mile away because it was still cheaper to do a full load here then have the Marriot do it. So we dropped off an explored castle, royal mile, an a park an picked up when we were done. The price is very reasonable too. It’s a little cafe as well an there is wifi. As well as chairs an tables to get work done or just chill an wait. It’s about a 20ish min walk to the castle. If not explore the museum of Scotland near by free or the Surgons hall not free near it too. If you have kids there’s a park about 5 mins that you can kill time while you wait for the laundry as well in Meadows park. Get your wash an dry needs done! Great spot to wash your clothes while traveling!
We went here on one of our last days in Edinburgh and loved every minute of it. Wash and dry took an hour and a half and the owner’s son took care of it for us. The clothes came out very soft and wrinkle free.nnThe owner is hilarious and will often make jokes at your expense. Go here with a sense of humor. Must be ok with dogs! Four handsome Scottish terriers roam freely around the store and are very friendly. We sipped coffee and read books while we waited. A great way to spend a morning
Fantastic spot! Not only a very convenient way to get your laundry done, but also a great atmosphere to sit and work and enjoy a tea or biscuits, with excellent I got 490 Mbps high speed Internet. Findlay, the owner, is a lovely fellow and true professional. He took great care of me and my clothes for the day!
