I had to use the local launderette as my washing machine broke. It was not a great experience to say the least. The place is in disrepair with 3 washing machines and a dryer out of order. There was no change machine or ability to pay by card. It cost £5 for use of a washing machine the same size as my home machine and £7 to use a machine 50% bigger. The clothes were clean but they were sopping wet, the spin cycle left the clothes at least 3x as damp as my home machine. It took nearly 9 hours to dry all the clothes at home when it would normally take 3 for this much washing. Glad my machine is now repaired is all I can say!

Used last week and lost £2 in a dryer that only had cold air and then today tried to use one of their machines and it didn't register all the coins I put in the slot and have lost another £7. Tried calling them but not answering! ***AVOID***

I visited this launderette for the first time last week. There are 6 smaller washing machines and 3 larger machines for bigger loads (although they don't look big enough for duvets) as well as tumble dryers. I used small washing machine number 4 on the 'warm' temperature - the cost is £4.00 for 20 minutes for small machines and £7.00 for large. Unfortunately my clothes were not that clean after. Ever the optimist I returned and tonight I used small machine numbers 2 and 3 - 3 seemed okay so far on the 'hot' setting but machine number 2 is broken and didn't wash properly and I'll definitely have to wash it again tomorrow. There was no way to get a refund as there are no change facilities or staff. I'm really annoyed that more and more people are reliant on laundrettes and feel the least that should be provided are machines that actually clean your clothes. It would be brilliant if this facility was smartened up a bit, the machines were cleaned and services could be expanded like some of the launderette businesses on Glos Road. I think the local community deserve more in the way of what's provided here (and I'd like to know how to get my money back). Disappointing.

Completely horrible place, it looks like it's never been cleaned ever! Some doors on machines don't have any, mold on the washing machine widows and in the fabric insert. AND when I put my £4.00 in the slot, the light flashes to press start (which I did) it took my money and nothing worked !! there is no way of getting your money back as there is no staff and no number to call other than in case of an emergency. I'm extremely annoyed because it was a waist of my time and cost me £4.00 which I can't get back. I'd give it a wide birth if I was you.
