Story

Laragh Lodge licensed restaurant is situated at the bottom of the waterfalls in Glenariffe Forest Park. Laragh Lodge was built in 1890 and served as a tea house for tourists visiting the famous walks and waterfalls of Gleariffe Glen. Glenariffe (Queen of The Glens) is situated amid the world famous Glens of Antrim, an area of outstanding natural beauty where tourists have been coming for years. Take in the views & watch the river flow past as you sample our selection of freshly cooked locally sourced food.

Absolutely gorgeous meal. Went for a walk to see the waterfalls. Little bit mucky but ordinary shoes were grand. On a wet day wellies would be needed. The servers were lovely. Could not have been more helpful. Lovely views from the tables. The steak was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be going back :-)

Went to see the water falls then a beautiful meal in the lodge. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Very charming restaurant with attentive staff and delicious regional food. The products used for what we ordered was fresh and local. Another thing going for it is a great price, particularly keeping in mind the amount that was served. Definitely will come back and recommend it for a small break if you’re going round for a trip to look at the waterfalls.

Fantastic little hidden gem not far outside Cushendall. Nestled in a tranquil valley and surrounded by relaxing forest walks along a river dotted with waterfalls. The food is pretty tasty too.

Stunning location. Good selection of food and helpful pleasant staff. Party of 7 so sampled a variety of dishes. All were very good but can particularly recommend the goats cheese and beetroot tartlet and the smoked haddock.
