Customer service can range from poor to excellent in my experience. At the Laptop Station it’s simply embarrassing. Many of the employees are great, but the manager is patronising, passive aggressive and had no interest in trying to resolve my issue. Short synopsis: I took my laptop in for a new fan and battery and ended up having no internet connection (one trip back to the shop), and then discovered they had wiped Microsoft office from the hard drive (another trip). When I asked what they could do to remedy the situation I was told I would have to obtain the original product key from my ex-employer. No offer to resolve what was their error (such as installing it anew), just a very dismissive response. No accountability here. And anyone with any experience of coaching or leadership training knows what that means (lack of self-worth and/or empathy). So all in all, pretty poor. The owner has since responded, with some claims that are simply untrue. At no point was i made aware that "only data" would be transferred. I would imagine the possibility that Microsoft Office would be missing when returned is something a customer would benefit from knowing. I was never told this could be the case. The owner has also confused anger with aggression. I was angry by the final time I returned to the shop, as I had every right to be. I made it clear that being spoken to in a patronising manner, and then being ignored is not something any customer should have to deal with. Until that point I was not disrespectful in any way: I simply pointed out that I was unhappy there were still issues with my laptop, and did not demand but pointed out that it was only fair they pay my parking. This was refused, which was disappointing. More importantly, if you're still reading this: read the other reviews. Don't just take my word for it. There are numerous examples all saying much the same: poor service, highly questionably ethics/morals and some of the worst customer service you'll ever experience.

Quick and efficient, repaired our laptop ( which we had thought was beyond repair) same day and reasonable cost. Not sure what the negative reviews regarding customer service relate to as both the manager and one member of staff we dealt with were friendly and polite - will definitely go back again 👍🏻

These guys are fantastic! I purchased a refurbished Lenovo AIO desktop from them online after requesting additional photos, which arrived in minutes. PC arrived a few days later, but unfortunately had damage to the stand. I have to say though this was NOT the fault of Laptopstation as the product was well packaged. This was a courier issue in my opinion as box looked a bit battered. Contacted Customer services who were absolutely amazing and a replacement part was ordered. Not only did I get the part [which I fitted myself, a 2 minute job], but was sent a brand new Asus wireless keyboard and mouse as a gesture of good will for all the inconvenience I'd had. What inconvenience? Just a little delay that's all, these things happen. Throughout all of this I was kept up-to-date. I should have said that the desktop looks and performs as new and is backed by 12 months warranty. Great Sales team, great Customer service and support and terrific product. I highly recommend these guys [and girls.. sorry!}. Well done Laptopstation.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I bought a laptop from here, and when I went home I noticed that the battery on the laptop was faulty. Took the laptop back into the store the next day and exchanged it for another laptop in hope the previous laptop was a one off problem. Returned home with the second laptop to notice troubles with this one too. Glitching and Charger faults. I returned to the shop again a second time with this laptop very disappointed and they refused me a refund. Their customer service and organisation skills are awful.

I wanted a laptop to play a very specific game. Went in and the staff were faultless. They researched the game for the specifications needed to run it and gave me multiple options. I knew nothing so it was fantastic that they took the time to do this. Picked up an open boxed laptop and my game is running perfectly just as they said. Would recommend especially if you need plenty of advice if, like me, you weren't sure what you need in the first place!
