Quite good location and nice building. Staff were really nice and kind but they could be trained a bit better. A bit short on the professionalism.bellboy was wearing a football shirt. Rooms were nice but they need small touches and fixes. Bathroom had a lot of scratches and stains that would have been fixed with just a bit of paint. Overall a good experience for the price but could be a lot better
Good location, clean, and a good hotel. The rooms are good size, bed very comfortable, had a very night sleep. Had a shower and a bath and an amazing view off the city.nnHowever what made it an exceptional stay was the friendly staff.nReception dealt with a request with had to change room to one with twin beds , fast and even moved our luggage. The barman was friendly, and just a pleasure to spend time with while having a drink. The breakfast was good , nice produce value for money the stuff running the dining room for breakfast friendly and attentive. We will definitely book again next time we go to Bath. Made my 50 th birthday special.
Lovely hotel inside and out, very clean and welcoming. Our room was lovely, beds were comfy and staff very helpful. Great price for breakfast included too. Only downsides were it's up a large hill and you have to pay for the parking and it's restricted times.

Only a one night stay here but my wife and I enjoyed the experience. The location is good but the walk back up to the hotel from the Abbey and Xmas Market in the rain was not easy for us as we are both 70 years old! Good job that we are still reasonably fit. Room was spacious, bed firm and comfortable. Bathroom could have done with a shaving mirror and better lighting. The restaurant and dinner menu was okay and the staff very friendly.
